Karachi Port handles biggest ever ship KARACHI (July 20 2010): The biggest ever container vessel, 'MV BUSAN EXPRESS' having 75,590 GRT and length of 300.03 meters, was successfully accommodated at Karachi Port on Monday. The trend for accommodating large vessels was set when the port handled 'MV TSING MA BRAIDGE' some two months back having an overall length of 285 meters, said a KPT statement.

It said the handling of such deeper-draft vessels by the port was a landmark achievement as this had increased the overall handling capacity of the Karachi Port that operates round the clock with cargo handling
