LAHORE (July 17 2010): The Business Panel Co-Chairman Iftikhar Ali Malik has said the business community would not tolerate any sort of government interference in elections of chambers scheduled for the month of September. Malik, in a statement on Friday said the business community is striving for economic stability in the country and it would continue all its efforts in the larger interests of progress and prosperity of the country.
He further said that all chambers in the country, including the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) have announced their elections schedules and soon after completion of process of chambers election, FPCCI elections will be held in December 2010.
He urged the business community to elect right people as their leaders who cold spare their time for the business community, as the country is passing through very critical times of its history and facing various internal and external challenges.
