KARACHI (July 20 2010): Anti-Encroachments Force of City District Government Karachi (CDGK) during an operation in Bin Qasim Town recovered 80 acres of government land. 5 persons were arrested for resisting the action while cases were registered against 12 persons.
The operation was performed with the help of police and rangers. The Anti-Encroachments Force removed more than 35 huts and concrete boundary walls constructed by land grabbers on government land in Deh Choriji of Bin Qasim Town. During the operation 5 persons including Bhai Khan Jokhio, Habibullah, Fazal Din, Waqar and Sajid Ali were arrested while cases were registered against 7 more persons including Salim Salar Jokhio, Mir Abbas Jokhio, Akhtar Marfani, Amjad Qureshi, Bakhtawar, Zaheer and Agha Gul Shah under the Anti-Encroachment Ordinance
