ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has discovered huge deposits of gas in Kohat, with production of 15 million cubic feet gas on daily basis, an OGDCL spokesman said.
The gas was discovered from Well-1 in Sheikhan area of district Kohat, which would produce 15mcf gas with 2,500 pound per square inch pressure.
The spokesman said that work had been started on the site in the third week of June, on one of the three drilling sites that the experts had chosen. He said that discovery of gas from the other two sites is expected in the next few months.
